Curl Chat w/ Tiffany – SheaMoisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt Line

We are back with another “Curl Chat w/ Tiffany”💙 This week I’ll be featuring another one of my favorite lines, SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt. This amazing line allows me to cleanse, hydrate, and repair my 3c high porosity (color-treated hair) all in one shot.

As we already know (check out my last Cheeba’s Curl Chat post) since my hair is color-treated and high porosity I like to focus on lines that give me a moisture/protein balance. Now, I can honestly say I’m not sure what made me decide to pick up this line when I was at the hair store last year. I’m just glad that I did because this turned out to be magic in a bottle. When I tell you my curls were so soft and smooth and my blonde color was shining, I was in LOVE! 😍.

This moisturizing shampoo has to be one of my favorites next to TGIN’s Moisture Rich shampoo.  It gently cleanses my follicles while infusing my hair with intensive moisture. I also love the fact that this shampoo has protein in it, which allows it to restore and repair my hair while washing. After I finished washing I detangle my hair with some TRESemme Curl Hydrate conditioner (the way my pockets are set up I can’t use expensive conditioner to detangle 🤷🏽‍♀️) then went on to the deep condition.

Now, I’m a HUGE fan when it comes to the SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Shampoo BUT when I tell you this deep conditioner is something else BABY! Super thick and creamy this deep conditioner does not come to play. When I tell you this deep conditioner gave my hair NEW LIFE! 🤔I should also note that I wanted to give myself an extreme treatment so I sat under the dryer for 30 minutes with my deep conditioner. I felt like that played a huge part in aiding the deep conditioner in restoring vitality to my dry, lackluster hair. I’ve used it a few times without sitting under the dryer; I wouldn’t say the results are the same but it still does the job. I definitely prefer sitting under the dryer when it comes to using this particular deep conditioner, could be because it’s so thick!

I would HIGH recommend this product to my high porosity Ladies, especially the ones in need of repair. This line is definitely one of my Top 5 Favorites of all time! However, I want to leave you with a bit of caution – this deep conditioner is super thick and WILL weigh down your hair so be careful! If you decide to try it out I suggest using it with a dryer so you can get the full effect.

Have you tried The SheaMoisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt Line yet? Let me know what you think!
